1. Commitment to achieving Net Zero
ECOedge Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with UK Government targets.
As a retrofit consultancy and delivery business specialising in Retrofit Design, Retrofit Coordination, PAS 2035:2023 compliance, installation delivery, technical assurance and domestic decarbonisation projects, we recognise our responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our own operations.
Our greatest contribution to carbon reduction is through the work we deliver for clients: helping homes and buildings become more energy efficient, lower carbon, more comfortable and better suited to long-term use.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been prepared in accordance with the principles of PPN 06/21 and sets out our commitment to measuring, monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions arising from our business activities.

3. Baseline emissions footprint
Baseline year: 2025
ECOedge Ltd is developing its carbon reporting arrangements and will continue to improve emissions measurement as the business grows. Our baseline emissions footprint reflects our current operating model as a professional retrofit consultancy and delivery organisation.
Our principal sources of emissions are expected to include:

- Employee commuting where relevant
- Home working energy use
- Purchased electricity associated with office or administrative activities
- Digital, software and cloud-based services
- Subcontractor, installer and supply chain activity associated with project delivery
As our emissions monitoring process develops, baseline data will be reviewed and updated to improve accuracy, consistency and transparency.
4. Scope and emissions categories
ECOedge Ltd considers emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 categories.
- Scope 1 – Direct emissions: emissions from fuel used in any business vehicles or direct operational activities controlled by ECOedge Ltd.

- Scope 3 – Other indirect emissions: emissions associated with business travel, employee commuting, home working, purchased goods and services, subcontractor activity, digital services and wider supply chain impacts.
We will prioritise the emissions sources most relevant to our business model and where ECOedge Ltd has the greatest ability to influence change.
